It is NRTL ready bench-top 1500oC muffle furnace with a 60 mm diameter window, which is designed for observation samples during heating with IR camera or optical device. The furnace consists of high-quality alumina fiber insulation and SiC heating elements. It controlled by high precision SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) and temperature controller with +/-1 °C accuracy and 30 programmable segments up to 1500 °C.

Attention Notes	Performance degradation (i.e. furnace can not reach the maximum temperature of 1500°C or it is drawing a higher than normal working current) can be expected due to the use of aged SiC heating elements. It is necessary to replace all the heating elements if the above symptoms were seen.
